Razer at CES 2018 presented a new line of PC speakers – Nommo, Nommo Chroma and Nommo Pro.
The Nommo speaker series has been designed to help players experience the game environment. The whole series provides precise positional sound using the left and right stereo channels, so that players know exactly where the sounds come from. In addition, Nommo Pro offers independent tweeters, thanks to which you can enjoy the smallest details in games.
Nommo Pro is a premium class 2.1 set, providing clear sound with a wide range and depth. The system is THX certified, which brings it closer to the cinema sound standards. The speakers were based on the Dolby Virtual Speaker technology, which guarantees an additional layer of immersion using 5.1 sound simulation. The Kevlar kevlar transducers provide powerful mid tones, while the independent tweeters with a silk dome provide delicate and balanced high tones. The cylindrical subwoofer, thanks to the appropriate shape, supports the flow of air and thus creates deep tones. Nommo Pro has an optical connector, USB, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack connector and a panel for controlling the volume and sound source.
The graphic equalizer settings can be managed via Razer Synapse 3 (beta) and the dedicated “Nommo Pro” application available on Android and iOS. Nommo Pro has a Chroma backlight, allowing a choice of 16.8 million colors.
Razer Nommo is a 2.0 speaker set for everyday use, equipped with technology that allows you to get a full range of sound with the right power and clarity thanks to the 3-inch glass fiber (Custom Woven Glass Fiber) transmitters. The elongated bass tunnels generate more bass, reducing distortion at high volume levels.
The Nommo Chroma version is also available – with USB interface, built-in DAC and Razer Chroma backlight. Nommo and Nommo Chroma speakers are now available at Razerzone.com for $ 99 (Nommo), Chroma version of $ 149.99. The availability of Nommo Pro loudspeakers will be announced soon, and the price of the set will be $ 49.99.
